Dear parents to-be,

I’m Lena, a newly qualified midwife based in Rostock. After completing my studies at the University of Rostock (Midwifery), I directly decided to start my journey as a midwife here in my hometown Rostock!

My goal is to make you feel supported, informed and confident throughout your pregnancy and after your baby is born.


What does a Midwife do?
As a midwife I support you during your pregnancy. I provide a wide range of care, including antenatal check-ups, support with pregnancy related discomforts and birth preparation. After your baby is born i will visit you at home and try to answer all the questions you may have. If you have breastfeeding difficulties or any other problems I will try to help you with that as well.

In Germany, midwifery care is generally covered by your health insurance!
